On April 10, 1945, the company was badly damaged due to bombs landing in close proximity: All windows were destroyed and the roofs severely damaged. Only a few days later, on April 18, 1945, an American tank came under fire in front of the company's entrance and was hit by anti-tank grenades. The totally burnt-out tank remained in this place for many weeks.
