1969 - End of wood wool spinning and beginning of styrofoam production

1969 saw the end of an era: Wood wool was no longer in demand. This reality forced the shutdown of wood wool production. In its place, synthetic material production was started in which styrofoam pieces were manufactured. Using six full-automated machines, up to 10 000 styrofoam pieces were produced daily.
