2001 - GELO receives PEFC certificate

GELO Timber Industries is the first German sawmill that received the valuable PEFC certificate. The PEFC logo may only be used by companies which promote sustainable forest management based on economically, environmentally, and socially beneficial viable standards. In order to be eligible for the forest certification process, companies have to document a continuous chain of custody.
