Although it is no direct part of the timber production line, the fitters shop nonetheless is the secret heart of our company. Because a smooth performance of the highly complex machinery does not happen by coincidence! Constant maintenance and a standby team of fitters and mechanics that is ready to repair the machines in case of malfunctions are essential in order to guarantee short production times and on time delivery. After all, 24 saws are working simultaneously in everyday operations, and a total of 300 saws are in circulation, being sharpened, outfitted with new saw teeth, and put back into place. Of course, this means a lot of work - since 2003, these tasks are done in our newly built, spacious fitters shop.
