G-Plane Products – Production

Our modern planing plant is equipped for every requirement – smooth edge boards, poles, profile boards, rauspunds, round edge profiles, frames or posts; as well as KVH-fix length, construction timber and SB-market timber products. Our plant is highly automated and thus offers the ability to deliver usual GELO-quality products to our customers quickly.

Here the raw materials are separated and brought to the line only after the first quality check.

Production of "4 from 1" poles is also possible..

The products are labeled directly at the end of the line.

The finished products are bundled and strapped fully automatically. Quarter packs for the export market can be produced in any case.

From Raw Materials to the Product

First the raw material is procured from either the internal mill or from external suppliers and brought to the production line. Then the raw material is sorted. A careful and visual quality check is performed by a machine operator.

High-speed Production

The feeder delivers a maximum of 50 units per minute to the profile mill. Here special processing steps like cutting of groove and tongue for profile timber can be performed. The speed of production is 160m/min. That’s High-speed Production at GELO. Obviously there is a quality check again at every step to ensure the high standard of GELO quality.

Customization within Minutes

The planing plant is highly flexible and can be customized within minutes. For example, customization from round edge profile to rauspunds. Furthermore, cutoff saws are also available for pole production. Thus we can also make “4 from 1” poles that are also planed.

Packaging and Labeling Please!

Another careful check for quality control is performed once the finished products leave the cutoff saws and planing machines. Now the fully automatic bundling of bars takes place. Here the poles are sorted in mini bundles. Besides, the preferred quarter packs for the export market can also be packed. Now the finished product is ready to leave the line.
