Awarded as Sawmill of the Year 2022!

Among all sawmills in Europe, from Finland to Romania and from Poland to France, GELO was celebrated as Sawmill of the Year in 2022.

The editorial team of the trade magazine Holzkurier awarded us this prize for our performance in connection with the construction and commissioning of the plant in Wunsiedel.

The Holzkurier explains the decision of the jury of experts as follows:

"All of these facts - from sustainability in Wunsiedel to the strategic focus on small-sized wood and the difficult assembly period to the flawless start with the machine suppliers - were the reasons for the Holzkurier editorial team to choose GELO Timber as the sawmill of the year 2022."
