The age of electric drives – also at GELO

We want to set a good example – and therefore rely on modern technology to sustainably reduce noise and pollutant emissions.

Since mid-2020, more than 50% of GELO forklifts no longer run on diesel. Away from diesel, towards alternative drives, and a significant reduction in noise and pollutant emissions has been GELO's declared strategy for years.

In order to be able to charge the increasing number of batteries – one of which weighs 4 tons – a hall was converted into a loading hall.
